It’s been a long time coming as other projects and work have taken priority but finally our popular SMTP Lookup app is available for your iPhone and iPad. System admin with a taste for Apple’s mobile toys? We’ve got you covered.
Who would want to use a utility that does a SMTP address lookup? To be honest we’ve been shocked at the wide variety of users who have taken advantage of our free SMTP lookup utility. From system admins to users who have ran out of patience trying to get “proper” SMTP details from an e-mail provider we’ve been thanked by a lot of people and we appreciate every person who downloads and uses our software. We understand that with something like this it’s more often than not a case of download, use once and then uninstall.
To coincide with the iOS release of SMTP server lookup we’ve also took the chance to update the the Android and Windows versions (2.3 is the current latest update as at 17th October 2023). Among other minor bug fixes we’ve also added the ability to check for a secure SMTP server address if all the default non secure option fail. This has had the effect of increasing the apps performance from a hit rate of around 90% to just over 95% now. As always, if anybody has any feedback or features they’d like to see added with any of our software just drop us a line and we’ll see what we can do.
The iOS version of SMTP Lookup is available to all Apple mobile devices running iOS version 12 or later, is 100% free to download to use and just like all our mobile apps are 100% advert free. You can download it by following this link.
