ICU PC Monitoring is a non obtrusive, low resource, secure way of monitoring any number of users on a Microsoft Windows enabled PC, be that a desktop, laptop or anything in between. The software works by capturing screen shots on a regular basis and then e-mailing them to a specified e-mail account after a specified number of captures. Sounds simple? At its core it really is! What ICU isn’t is a way of capturing key strokes, infringing on security or anything else nasty. ICU was designed to enable a parent or responsible adult to monitor the computer activity of another person with their permission, WITHOUT exposing passwords or other sensitive information. So at it’s heart ICU is a very simple PC monitoring program, but delve a little deeper and it has some advanced features. Whilst the intended usage for ICU was seen as primarily parental/child as is the way of the world other uses have been found. It is now a popular program in the “accountability software” market. If you are not happy with your own harmful computer usage (be it Porn, addiction, violence, trolling, time spent or anything else) then ICU can provide a non obtrusive way for you to be monitored for accountability purposes.
