Free SMTP Server Without Authentication Solution No1!

We hear you, it’s something we’ve been asked over and over “do you know of a free SMTP server without authentication that I can use?”  We actually used to operate a couple of servers ourselves that were configured that way and allowed open relaying, but they never lasted very long.  As soon as that type of server becomes common knowledge it gets used and abused to the point that mail delivery stops, it appears on every blacklist going and to be honest it’s 100% pointless using.  We’ve worked hard to find a solution that will fit most genuine use cases and we’ve come up with something we hope you’ll like.

Hit Me With Details Of This Free SMTP Server Without Authentication

Free SMTP Server Without Authentication Solution For allWe’d love to but as we hinted at above it’s not something that exists anymore.  What you need is a free SMTP server with the strongest authentication details possible that is willing to give you auth details for no cost.  By requiring authentication it means that anybody not conforming to how a simple mail transfer protocol server should be used i.e. spamming can quickly be removed so that the integrity and reputation of the server is robust.  If you’ve got any interest in getting your e-mail delivered, be it 1 e-mail or 10,000 messages then this should be your No.1 priority!  There is literally no point in sending lots of e-mail if none of it is getting delivered.

What is the advantage of having no authentication?  There really isn’t any to anybody looking to use a SMTP server for genuine reasons.  The only other use case we can come up with is if a software developer or programmer was using a really old SMTP library in some legacy software and was struggling to have it updated.  Some of these very old libraries do not support SMTP authentication (RFC 2821 explains in detail) and so finding a server without authentication might be the only way of keeping that legacy software going, it’s got to be pretty rare though?  The other use case we know about because we’ve been personally involved with people looking for the free SMTP server without authentication was to do with some legacy fax machines (is there such a thing as a none legacy fax machine?? :))  Some fax machines have an internal function that allows inbound messages to be e-mailed direct to a recipient, a lot of these require use of a 3rd party SMTP server and some don’t have the option for entering auth details.  That 1 good reason for looking for a free SMTP server without authentication.  Again this is pretty niche.  In our experience most people looking insisting on the no auth, relay server are just wanting to SPAM, in which case their is no benefit in pointing them in the right direction.

The Ultimate SMTP Server For 99% Of Use Cases

What if we said there’s a free SMTP server out there that:-

  1. Can be used with multiple e-mail addresses without issue i.e. you can use the same SMTP for sending via multiple addresses
  2. Has proven to be able to be used globally without issue i.e. no more ISP problems
  3. Has shown to be friendly to the Fax machine/no authentication problem and can provide work arounds if requested
  4. Has an exceptional reputation for delivery i.e. no automatic labeling as SPAM or e-mails bouncing
  5. Gives you extra bells and whistles that you just don’t get with a mail providers SMTP server i.e. delivery reports etc
  6. A SMTP with more port options than just 25, 465, 587 and 2525!

We can speak first hand here because we’ve integrated them in to several of our applications new and old, the performance has been faultless.  Even when sending very large e-mail with multiple attachments we’ve never had a problem.  If you’re just looking for the standard SMTP to use with your own e-mail address then we’d always recommend you check out our SMTP server list first.  Failing that use the SMTP lookup utility with your e-mail address to get your server details.  If you’re looking for a 1 stop solution to use with all your e-mail addresses though then you’ve got to check out this SMTP server, it’s what we use and would never hesitate to recommend.  Got any other questions you’d like to ask us?  Use the comments section below and we’ll do our best to answer.
